Dr. Kelly Hanna
Family Dentistry
Dr. Kelly Hanna began practicing dentistry in 1991 alongside his father Dr. Donald Hanna. He completed his undergraduate education across Del Mar College and Southern Methodist University before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kelly Hanna practices a full scope of dental care—including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery. Committed to modern approach he specializes in laser-assisted treatments to deliver the highest standard of comfort and clinical care.
When he isn't treating patients, Dr. Kelly Hanna shares his expertise as a part-time adjunct clinical professor at Del Mar College (a role he has held since 2023) and serves his community as the co-founder and a volunteer dentist at the Corpus Christi Missions of Mercy Dental Clinic.
Dr. Sarah Hanna
Family Dentistry
Dr. Hanna’s passion in dentistry precedes her, as both her grandfather and father devoted their lifelong careers as dentists. Originally from Corpus Christi, Dr. Sarah Hanna graduated cum laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with high honors from the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Following graduation, Dr. Sarah Hanna spent several years practicing in Austin, Texas, where she focused heavily on comprehensive restorative dentistry. During her time there, she also completed extensive specialized training with the American Academy of Clear Aligners, allowing her to offer advanced clear aligner therapy to her patients.
In the summer of 2026, Dr. Sarah Hanna returned home to Corpus Christi to officially join the team with her father, Dr. Kelly Hanna. Together, they are proud to continue serving their hometown community with the same dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence that the Hanna name has represented for generations.
Our History & Involvement
Our founder Dr. Donald Hanna was born on June 27, 1931, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended local schools, graduating from Corpus Christi High School in 1948, and later attended Del Mar College. After serving three years in the United States Air Force at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and attaining the rank of Sergeant, he returned to Texas to continue his education. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and graduated with a degree in general dentistry from the University of Texas, Houston Dental Branch in 1961.
Donald and his wife, Norma, settled in Corpus Christi and established his dental practice that same year. For more than 38 years, he faithfully served the people of Corpus Christi and the surrounding communities, often greeting patients with a song and a smile. His practice, first located on Gollihar Road and later on McArdle Road, reflected his genuine care for others until his retirement on January 1, 1999. Inspired by Donald’s example and supported by the values that he and Norma instilled in their family, their son, Dr. Kelly Hanna, followed in his father’s footsteps to continue the family tradition. That tradition has now extended to a third generation through their granddaughter, Dr. Sarah Hanna. Today, three generations of Hanna dentists have practiced from the McArdle Road office, serving the community with the same dedication, compassion, and commitment to patient care that Donald and Norma championed throughout their lives.
In keeping with the family's lifelong dedication to education, service, and the dental profession, their son, Dr. Kelly Hanna, and his wife, Nena Hanna, along with their eldest son, Owen, and his wife, Theresa Hanna, have established an endowment for the Del Mar College Dental Program in their parents' honor.
Dr. Kelly Hanna continues his involvement at Del Mar College as an adjunct faculty member and was recently honored with the Founding Faculty Recognition award for Local Infiltration Anesthesia on May 15, 2026. Additionally, in 2023, Dr. Kelly Hanna assisted Corpus Christi Missions of Mercy by founding and opening their dental clinic. Both Dr. Kelly and Dr. Sarah Hanna remain actively involved with Corpus Christi Missions of Mercy and have volunteered extensively with Texas Missions of Mercy dental clinics across the state.
In the summer of 2026, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Sarah Hanna began working side by side to continue what Donald started—operating a joyful family dental practice that seamlessly blends decades of clinical success with modern innovations to best suit the needs of their patients.
